Please read this document carefully. It forms part of the terms governing Cloak and should be reviewed with the related policies.
Digital product
Cloak is a digital browser extension and subscription service. Nothing is physically shipped, so there are no physical returns.
Fourteen-day refund window
You may request a refund within 14 calendar days of the applicable charge. Submit the request through the Support form and provide the same reply address used at checkout so the transaction can be located and verified.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method. Cloak cannot redirect a refund to a different card or account. Your bank or payment provider controls how long the credit takes to appear. Stripe or another payment processor may retain processing fees that are not returned to Cloak, and those fees may be deducted where permitted by law.
Requests after 14 days
After 14 calendar days, payments are non-refundable except where required by law, where duplicate billing occurred, or where Cloak cannot provide the purchased service. Subscription cancellation alone does not make an earlier charge refundable.
Access after refund or cancellation
A refund may end paid access immediately and invalidate the associated activation. If you cancel without a refund, access generally continues through the end of the paid billing period unless checkout or applicable law states otherwise.
Disputes and statutory rights
Please contact Cloak through the Support form before opening a payment dispute when practicable so we can investigate. Nothing in this policy limits a non-waivable consumer right or remedy available under applicable law.
Policy changes
Cloak may update this policy prospectively. The policy in effect when a charge is made will govern that charge unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Use the Support form. Do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, or sensitive browsing content.
